The captain of an old Klingon ship, its crew descended from those who left the Empire to seek a saviour, who believed B'Elanna's child was that saviour.
Kohlar commands an antique Klingon D7-class ship in Prophecy, crewed by the descendants of Klingons who left their homeworld generations earlier in search of the Kuvah'magh, a prophesied saviour. He attacks Voyager believing the Federation is still the Empire's enemy, until he sees the pregnant B'Elanna Torres.
Convinced that her unborn daughter is the Kuvah'magh, he fakes a warp core breach so that his crew of over two hundred can be transported aboard Voyager. After a disease is cured with stem cells from the baby, Kohlar's people settle on a planet. Wren T. Brown played Kohlar.
