A writer at Incredible Tales who publishes under a gender-neutral name because the magazine's readers are not expected to accept a woman.
Kay Eaton is a writer at Incredible Tales in Far Beyond the Stars, Benjamin Sisko's vision of 1953 New York. She is married to fellow writer Julius Eaton and is played by Nana Visitor, mirroring Kira Nerys.
Kay writes under the initials K. C. Hunter to hide that she is a woman, and the editor Douglas Pabst excludes her as well as Benny Russell from the staff photograph. She is a steady supporter of Benny and his story.
