The leader of the Eymorg women of Sigma Draconis VI, who steals Spock's brain to run the machine that sustains her people.
Kara leads the Eymorgs, the women who live in an underground complex on Sigma Draconis VI while the men, the Morgs, live on the frozen surface. In Spock's Brain she beams aboard the Enterprise, renders the crew unconscious and removes Spock's brain, which is needed to run the Controller, the machine that provides heat, light and air beneath the planet.
Kara and her people no longer understand their technology. Only a device called the Teacher can grant them the knowledge they need for a short time. When Kirk's party arrives, McCoy uses the Teacher himself to restore Spock's brain to his body, and the Eymorgs face the prospect of living alongside the Morgs. She was played by Marj Dusay.
