A veteran Gamma Quadrant-born Jem'Hadar whose sound warnings are ignored by his younger commander aboard the captured Defiant.
Ixtana'Rax is the Second in the Jem'Hadar unit that seizes the Defiant in One Little Ship. Born in the Gamma Quadrant, he is older and more experienced than his commander, Kudak'Etan, who regards the Alpha-bred Jem'Hadar as superior.
Ixtana'Rax suspects sabotage and objects to letting the Defiant's crew work on the ship, but Kudak'Etan overrules him. Sisko deliberately widens the rift between them, and the divided Jem'Hadar lose control of the ship.
