The archivist of the Eternal Gallery and Archive who guided Burnham to the final map piece and gave Book a piece of Kwejian's World Root.
Hy'Rell is the archivist of the Eternal Gallery and Archive in the Badlands, introduced in Labyrinths. When Discovery arrives, she leads Michael Burnham to the manuscript purported to contain the last piece of the map to the Progenitors' technology.
She also gives Cleveland Booker a cutting of the World Root, a priceless relic of his culture following the destruction of Kwejian. Her archive is then threatened by the Breen, whose leader Primarch Ruhn decides to destroy it even after receiving the map.
