Discovery's tactical officer, who served on the bridge from the Klingon War through the search for the Progenitors' technology.
Gen Rhys is a human tactical officer aboard the USS Discovery, played by Patrick Kwok-Choon. He was part of the bridge crew under Gabriel Lorca during the Klingon War, remained aboard through the Red Angel crisis and went with the ship to the 32nd century.
During the final mission against the Breen, Rhys joined Michael Burnham, Cleveland Booker and Adira Tal in boarding Moll's dreadnought. He protected Adira while they brought down the ship's shields so Burnham and Book could secure the Progenitors' structure.
