Ru'afo's second in command, a Son'a officer who turned against his leader to help Picard save the Ba'ku.
Gallatin is a Son'a officer and second in command to Ru'afo. Like the other Son'a, he was one of the young Ba'ku exiled from their homeworld a century earlier after a failed attempt to seize power.
In Star Trek: Insurrection, Gallatin is disturbed when Ru'afo prepares to proceed with the harvest of the planet's metaphasic particles regardless of the cost to the Ba'ku. Picard persuades him to help stop Ru'afo. Afterward, Gallatin is reunited with his Ba'ku mother.
