Enterprise science crew member in the first season, a friend of Doctor Phlox who explored the ship's first new world.
Elizabeth Cutler was a member of the science staff aboard Enterprise during its first year in space. Played by Kellie Waymire, she joined the landing party in Strange New World, staying on the surface overnight to study nocturnal life, and in the cave where the party sheltered from a storm she was among those who began to hallucinate under the influence of a local pollen.
Cutler also developed a friendship with Phlox, which features in Dear Doctor, as the Denobulan studied human customs. She appeared in several episodes of the first season.
