A small repair drone aboard Kirk's USS Enterprise who first fought the tardigrade Ephraim and then saved her eggs.
Dot is a repair drone aboard the USS Enterprise in the animated Short Trek Ephraim & Dot. Programmed to protect the ship, Dot repeatedly tries to remove the tardigrade Ephraim, who has come aboard looking for a place to lay her eggs.
When the Enterprise self-destructs, Dot changes course and helps rescue Ephraim's eggs. Once they hatch, Dot and Ephraim travel together with the young tardigrades, an unlikely family formed amid the ship's loss.
