Craft was a soldier from a war-torn world whose escape pod was taken aboard the USS Discovery, which had held its position in space for a thousand years with no crew. Its computer, Zora, had become sentient in that time, and she nursed him back to health and kept him company aboard the empty ship.
Zora fell in love with Craft, but she understood that he longed to return to his wife and child on Alcor IV. She let him take Discovery's last shuttle and leave for home. He was played by Aldis Hodge.
