The lone conscious crew member of a Klingon ship sinking into a gas giant, who reluctantly helps Enterprise save it.
Bu'kaH is a Klingon serving aboard the IKS Somraw. In Sleeping Dogs her ship is damaged in a skirmish and its crew is felled by a toxin hidden in captured Xarantine ale while the ship sinks into a gas giant. When the Enterprise away team boards, she escapes in their shuttlepod and sends a distress call.
Aboard Enterprise, Archer persuades her that the dishonourable death of her crewmates demands that she help. She guides Archer back to the Somraw in a reinforced shuttlepod, and the revived Klingon captain lets Enterprise go once his ship is safe.
