Augris was the Mokra officer who imprisoned and interrogated Tuvok and B'Elanna Torres in Resistance.
Augris was a commander of the Mokra, the authoritarian rulers occupying the Alsaurian homeworld. He oversaw a prison where suspected resistance members were held and brutally interrogated, and he knew of the old man Caylem's many failed attempts to free his family.
In Resistance, Augris tortured Tuvok for information after he and Torres were captured buying a chemical Voyager needed. When Janeway was caught, he revealed the truth about Caylem's dead daughter and prepared to interrogate the captain, but Caylem attacked and stabbed him before the guards opened fire, allowing the Voyager crew to escape.
