A female android built by Roger Korby on Exo III, who learned to feel emotion and ended her existence alongside her maker.
Andrea is one of the androids Roger Korby produced on Exo III using the planet's ancient technology, designed to serve him and to appear outwardly human. Kirk tries to unsettle her programming by kissing her, testing whether she could be made to respond with confused emotions.
In the final confrontation Andrea, having developed feelings she cannot reconcile, embraces Korby and fires her phaser, destroying both of them. She was played by Sherry Jackson.
