An Olympic-class medical ship commanded by Beverly Crusher in the possible future shown in All Good Things.
The USS Pasteur was an Olympic-class medical starship, a design with a rounded forward hull, named after the French scientist Louis Pasteur. It appears only in the possible future shown in All Good Things, the final episode of The Next Generation.
In that future, about twenty-five years after the series, Beverly Crusher is captain of the Pasteur. An elderly Picard, suffering from an illness that affects his mind, persuades her to take the ship into the Neutral Zone to look for a spatial anomaly near the Devron system, with Geordi La Forge and Data aboard.
While searching, the Pasteur is attacked by Klingon ships and suffers a warp core breach. Admiral Riker arrives in the Enterprise and beams the crew to safety just before the Pasteur explodes. The anomaly turns out to be part of a test set by Q that links three different time periods.
