The Gr'oth was a Klingon D7-class battle cruiser in service in the 2260s. It was the Klingon ship at Deep Space Station K-7 in 2268, when its crew took shore leave on the station while the Enterprise was guarding a shipment of grain bound for Sherman's Planet.
The ship was identified by name in Trials and Tribble-ations, when Sisko's crew travelled back to K-7 during the tribble incident. The Klingons' brawl with Enterprise personnel in the station bar, and the exposure of the Klingon agent Arne Darvin, played out with the time travellers watching from the edges.
