Reptilian Gorn warship that destroyed the Cestus III outpost in 2267, leading the Metrons to set Kirk and the Gorn captain against each other.
Gorn starships were the vessels of the reptilian Gorn. In 2267 a Gorn ship destroyed the Earth outpost on Cestus III, which the Gorn regarded as an intrusion into their territory.
In Arena, the Enterprise pursued the Gorn ship into unexplored space until the Metrons halted both vessels and set their captains to fight alone on a barren planet. Kirk overcame the Gorn captain but refused to kill him, and the Metrons let both ships go. Gorn ships later menaced Pike's Enterprise in Strange New Worlds, as in Memento Mori.
