The Bok'Nor was a Cardassian transport destroyed in 2370, shortly after leaving Deep Space Nine. Its loss began the events that brought the Maquis, Federation colonists resisting Cardassia in the Demilitarized Zone, to Starfleet's attention.
In The Maquis, a man in a Starfleet uniform tampered with equipment near the ship before its departure, and the explosion killed everyone aboard. Gul Evek later produced the saboteur, William Patrick Samuels, together with his recorded confession. Gul Dukat insisted that the Bok'Nor had not been carrying weapons, though the colonists believed otherwise.
