Rakosa V is a populated Delta Quadrant planet that was targeted by Dreadnought, the reprogrammed Cardassian missile.
Rakosa V is an inhabited world in the Delta Quadrant home to millions of people. It became the target of Dreadnought, a Cardassian missile that B'Elanna Torres had reprogrammed while with the Maquis and that had been swept to the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker.
In Dreadnought, the missile mistook Rakosa V for its original Cardassian target and refused to stand down. Voyager raced to stop it, and Janeway was prepared to destroy her own ship to save the planet. At the last moment Torres disabled the weapon, sparing Rakosa V and its people.
