American screenwriter who wrote the celebrated Deep Space Nine episode The Visitor and became a prolific writer and producer on Voyager.
Michael Taylor is an American screenwriter, born in 1969, who worked as a reporter and rock musician before writing for television. He began as a freelance writer on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, where his script for The Visitor became one of the franchise's most praised episodes, followed by Things Past, Resurrection and the teleplay for In the Pale Moonlight.
Taylor then joined Star Trek: Voyager, writing or co-writing episodes such as Blink of an Eye, Bride of Chaotica! and Workforce, Part II. He later wrote for Battlestar Galactica.
