The government of the Vidiians, a Delta Quadrant people ravaged by the Phage and driven to harvest organs from others.
The Vidiian Sodality is the state of the Vidiians, whose society has been devastated by the Phage, a disease that consumes their bodies. To survive, they harvest organs and tissue from other species, often by force, and their ships hunt travellers for donors.
In Phage the Vidiians steal Neelix's lungs, and in Faces they split B'Elanna Torres into separate Klingon and human beings for research. The Vidiian doctor Denara Pel later becomes a friend of Voyager's Doctor.
