Parmen's wife and fellow Platonian, who joins in tormenting the Enterprise crew in Plato's Stepchildren.
Philana is the wife of Parmen, the leader of the Platonians. In Plato's Stepchildren she shares her husband's telekinetic powers and their boredom after more than two thousand years of life, and she enjoys toying with the visitors.
Philana joins Parmen in forcing the crew to perform for them. When Kirk and Spock gain the same powers through kironide, Parmen and Philana are humbled. She was played by Barbara Babcock.
