The high priestess of the generation ship Yonada, who married Leonard McCoy when he was dying of an incurable disease.
Natira is high priestess of the Fabrini people living aboard Yonada, a vast ship disguised as an asteroid whose inhabitants do not know they are aboard a vessel. Yonada is on a collision course with an inhabited world, and the people's lives are governed by the Oracle, a computer that punishes disobedience.
McCoy, recently told he has a fatal disease, falls in love with Natira and agrees to marry her and remain on Yonada. When the Enterprise finds a cure in the Fabrini archives, Natira lets him go as her people continue their journey. She was played by Kate Woodville.
