A Capellan noble who kills the Teer and takes power in Friday's Child, then gives his life to redeem his honor against the Klingons.
Maab is a Capellan leader who overthrows the Teer Akaar in Friday's Child, siding with the Klingon agent Kras in the competition for Capella IV's topaline. As the new Teer, he hunts Eleen and the Enterprise officers protecting her and the unborn heir.
When Maab realizes that Kras has no honor and has betrayed him, he deliberately exposes himself to draw the Klingon's fire, sacrificing himself in the Capellan warrior tradition. His death allows the true heir to take power. He was played by Michael Dante.
