The captain of a Vissian ship who befriends Archer, only for relations to sour over the fate of a cogenitor.
Drennik commands a Vissian starship that Enterprise meets near a hypergiant star. In Cogenitor he forms a warm friendship with Archer and takes him aboard a small craft to fly into the star, one of the highlights of first contact with the Vissians.
The good feeling is tested when a Vissian cogenitor, a member of the species' third sex, asks for asylum on Enterprise after Trip Tucker teaches it to read. Drennik waits for Archer's decision, and Archer returns the cogenitor. Drennik was played by Andreas Katsulas.
