Ariana was a Tarellian plague survivor who had shared dreams with Wyatt Miller and drew him away from his arranged marriage to Deanna Troi.
Ariana was one of the last Tarellians, a people almost wiped out by a biological weapon. In Haven she travelled aboard a sublight ship of plague-stricken refugees seeking a peaceful place to live out their lives, and the ship's approach to the planet Haven alarmed its inhabitants.
Ariana and Wyatt Miller had been seeing each other in their dreams for years without ever meeting. When they finally made contact, they recognised each other at once. Wyatt joined her on the Tarellian ship, ending his planned marriage to Deanna Troi. Danitza Kingsley played her.
