A nurse on the Enterprise-D medical staff and one of Dr. Crusher's trusted assistants in sickbay.
Alyssa Ogawa served as a nurse under Dr. Beverly Crusher and was seen in sickbay from the fourth season onward. She assisted in many medical crises and became one of Crusher's most reliable staff members. In Lower Decks, she was recommended by Crusher for promotion, and was shown dating a fellow officer, Andrew Powell.
In Genesis she was revealed to be pregnant, at a time when the crew was struck by a virus that made them de-evolve. She was played by Patti Yasutake.
